Good working product for a stubborn leak
I have been struggling with a rim leak for years, have taken it in to have it repaired and they said they could never find a leak. It’s not the valve stem. It’s not the tire probably a defect in the rim. This did not completely pump up my tire, but it sealed the leak, I have not had an issue for two weeks. Normally I would have to put air in it every couple days . Great for a pesky leak.

My wife’s car tires were leaking air. Apparently no holes, just old tires with still good tread. Leaking from who know where, I think where it touches rim. If you follow instructions, drive car about 5 miles after filling tire. Don’t try to plug a nail hole. Just small leaks. Imagine this is glue. So basically tire was leaking from 38 psi and 2 days needed air at 20 psi. With this product it did stop the leaking. I only got to put in a little first time, since I filled the tire with air first before using this. Better to fill tire with this product glue before topping off with air. Then drive it. First time I used a little it lasted an extra maybe 200 miles. Second time I put in more, but not all bottle and it’s lasts more than 300 miles and holding strong. Think of using this I think more in small leaks that leak over days and as a temp solution until you can get a new tire. This is helping us get more out of our tires until we need to really change them out. I’m hoping for 5K miles. Keep you all posted.

I liked it enough to buy one for my dad too. His Escalade tires are old too and slow leaks. Instead of buying expensive tires right away, I’m using this. Damn perfectly good tires, just older and slight cracks. This should help squeeze every mile possible out of tires.

So I originally wrote a 1 star review for this and then a few days later I realized I didn't publish it.
My issue was that I think I got a dud can. I have a tire that goes completely flat after 24 hours and I can't get to replacing it for another week or so. So I tried this out... I jacked up the car and followed the instructions exactly. After screwing this on, it was evident that there was no way this was going to inflate my tire. The can had absolutely no pressure in it. It probably got a tablespoon amount of liquid into the tire before it just gave up and the pressure equalized. I disconnected and tried to shake the can again and see if I can activate whatever it is that pressurizes the can. Again no luck. After giving up, the can still felt like it was at least 90% full. So I inflated the tire the rest of the way with a compressor, drove a few miles for hood measure and then came home and parked the car. . At that point I was pissed and came inside and wrote the 1 star review.

I haven't gone out in 3 days and then when I went out today expecting a flat tire, it still had full pressure. I guess that tiny amount of liquid that got in the tire did the trick. So I'll admit that this does in fact work well, but I would not trust it as an emergency flat fix because you run the risk of getting a dud that has no chance of inflating a flat tire.

Had a slow leak on my rear drivers side tire. The instructions say to put the hole at the bottom and then fill the tire. I couldn’t locate the hole so we used the can to fill the tire, then immediately took a drive around the neighborhood to get it to spread out. It’s been holding up for the past couple weeks. I plan to get a new set of tires soon so it was nice to not have to take it in early or pay extra to have a repair.

Wait...This is for truck tires. More is absolutely not better. Trust their can/product sizing! If you use all of this in a car tire you will have so much extra in there your tire will become unbalanced and you'll feel a pretty good wobble over 60 mph.

That aside, this will definitely get you out of a bind (If it's not in the sidewall) just remember to not drive on it too long without getting the tire pressure back up to normal. This is enough to stop the leak and get the tire round and off the ground, and hopefully there's a gas station nearby with functional air that doesn't need 50 quarters to run.

I purchased this can of Fix-A-Flat to fix, what I believe, is a rim leak on my truck tire which needs to be filled once every week or so. When I attempted to use the product I let some air out of the tire (down to 25 psi) so it would be easier to dispense the contents. The instructions on the can say to have the valve on the tire at the 6 o'clock...which I did as well.

When I attempted to make the connection using the swivel connector on the can's hose it was difficult. The hose on the can is very short and stiff and because it came coiled in the can's lid, did not want to straighten out making connecting it to the tire a very awkward process. It was hard to screw the hose end on the valve without it binding so it felt like it was cross-threading. I have machined aluminum valve caps and they go one very easily so I know the threads on the tire's valve stem are clean.

I finally did get it on and when I attempted to dispense the contents it filled the hose but that was about it. I could not see any contents flowing thru the hose at all. I assumed it was not on far enough so I took it off to try again and the contents sprayed everywhere showing it was indeed under pressure....just not going into the tire. After multiple tries the hose end eventually just broke off and stayed on the tire's valve stem. I was able to get it off, but at this point the can is useless to me.

Obviously I cannot and will not recommend this product. I have used this product before and had success, but that was when the hose was longer and wired to the side of the can making it much easier to use, versus how they are shipped now. I would recommend going with another product or possible going to a box store (which is what I plan to do) to find one that does not have this design. At the very least, if you do choose to disregard this review, I would try it with the tire's valve stem at the 3 or 9 o'clock position which might make it easier to thread the hose end on to the valve stem,.

Also, if you choose to go this route you might just be throwing your money away. I attempted to get a refund from Amazon and was directed to the manufacture's web site. From there you are directed to use the 800 number of leave a general message that is in no way connected to your Amazon purchase. Past experience tells me it will not be an easy process so it looks like I am out the $12.
